Turning the Divorce Plot Twist into Happily Ever After

Hello and welcome. I’m Sarah Elizabeth, and I’m a divorce coach and mentor, passionate about empowering women to rewrite their stories after divorce, and making the next chapter the best goddamn one yet.

Divorce doesnt mean the end…it’s just the beginning.

Creating something bloody AMAZING from ‘broken’…

After a divorce, absolutely everything changes and your life as you knew it is completely unrecognisable. It is such a trauma and an overwhelming pain, heartbreak and sadness. The knock-on effect of the unbearable loneliness, and feeling so unloveable and insecure, not being able to believe you are worth so much more.

I get it.

I’ve been exactly where you are. It’s like your life spiralled out of control right? It feels like you’ve lost absolutely everything and worse still, the person who took it all from you was supposed to be the person who loved you the most.

It’s such crap, it really is. And facing a new future on your own can be terrifying too.

BUT, what this experience does is to give us an opportunity to create a new happily ever after.

A chance to start afresh and design our lives exactly as we goddamn please.

And the beauty of this is that we get to start with a blank page.

It may not feel like this right now, but your story really is not at ‘the end’. You really don’t have to finish on a ‘miserable ever after’.

The Divorce was just a plot twist.

We get to create the next chapter exactly as we choose. And that is a truly brilliant thing.

So why am I just the person to be your cheerleader and part of your support squad?

Professional Background

I am a transformational life coach (Advanced Certificate in Coaching Practice). My background was initially as a Foster Carer and then I moved into teaching child development and managing a parenting programme. After completing an Open University degree in Childhood and Youth Studies, I went on to an MA in Social Work, qualifying in 2009, and going onto a career in child protection.

Social workers are sometimes known as ‘agents of change’ and after my divorce, and learning so much more about how to effect positive change (as well as doing it for myself), I decided to use all of my knowledge, skills and experience to move into coaching and personal development, specialising in post-divorce growth.

Read more about my personal background in the ‘About Me’ section.

Because we are all about post-divorce personal development over here, I have created the Divorce Book Club as a community where we grow together using the power of books.
